Natural gravity of reservoir systems: mathematization and philosophical aspects of oilfield geology
Relevance. Researchers' views on the origin of hydrocarbons in natural reservoirs should be considered differentiated. If in positions on the general origin of hydrocarbons there are very large disagreements, in the field of formation of heavy viscous oils is quite clearly manifested very noticeable unity. Generally accepted is the position that the bulk of heavy viscous oils and bitumens are formed in zones of hypergenesis (tectonically active zones), that is, where there is a possibility of manifestation of the role of free oxygen. This very element, together with other physical and chemical components of the rock massif, belongs to natural oxidizers (sulfur, iron oxides, etc.) and causes the existence of surface and near-surface (shallow) zones of distribution of heavy and viscous oils. Oil oxidation and sulfurization are also accompanied by sulfate-reduction of bacteria. As a result, the density of oils increases with simultaneous decrease in the content of light compounds (including methane and naphthenic compounds) in the total volume of hydrocarbon accumulations. Viscous oils become more cyclic in hydrocarbon composition, highly resinous and, if the tendency of such physical and chemical transformation is observed, gradually turn into practically solid substances – bitumens (malt, asphalts, asphaltites, kerites, anthraxolites, etc.). This process is also accompanied by a constant increase in watercutting of productive sediments of the mountain massif during the development and operation of oil and gas facilities. There is a need to search for alternative ways of movement of hydrocarbon fluids taking into account changes in the field of natural gravity of reservoir systems. Aim. To identify stable fluid-conducting channels in the pore space of polymictic sandstones taking into account the natural gravity field and its connection with antigravity. Objects. Productive sediments of the Pokur Formation. Methods. The study of gravitational field distribution in the pore space of rocks is carried out taking into account Newton's and Einstein's theories; the conceptual model of gravitational flow of hydrocarbon liquids in dense porous media is carried out taking into account the peculiarities of magnetic levitation of reservoir systems; the construction of models of digital twins of the system “reservoir–gravity” is realized with the help of artificial intelligence methods. Results. The author has determined the quantum-mechanical characteristics of reservoir systems in the flow of hydrocarbon fluids in the field of natural gravity. The paper introduces the result of Katanov algorithm for search of alternative ways of hydrocarbon liquids flow under geologic uncertainty. The author revealed the anomalies in the distribution of the natural gravity field and its connection with antigravity.
