Implementation of an alternative methodology for adapting hydrodynamic models to improve the efficiency in evaluation of the drilling project fund

Relevance. The study is devoted to improving the accuracy of predictive calculations of hydrodynamic models. At the moment, three-dimensional modeling plays an important role in designing and evaluating well design fund. In this relation it is necessary to look for new methodologies and algorithms for adapting and updating models to reduce the error of calculation parameters and increase the reliability of calculations. Relevance. Currently aggravated disagreements on the choice of sources of input information for hydrodynamic models. The hydrodynamic model is built at the stage of research and design work and summarizes all available knowledge about the development object at the moment. The hydrodynamic model should contain processed (meaningful) information on the geological structure, properties of reservoir fluids, phase permeability, and initial state of the system. At the same time, the simulation results must be coordinated with the data of geological exploration and well operation. To date, there is no clear answer to the question, which types of research will be decisive, for example, which of the methods (GIS, GDIS, core or operational data) more correctly describe the permeability field in the hydrodynamic model of the deposit. This work is devoted to an alternative approach to hydrodynamic model adaptation. Aim. To increase the accuracy of predictive calculations of the hydrodynamic model by applying an alternative adaptation methodology and to assess the prospects for the implementation of the well design fund. Methods. Hydrodynamic modeling of the object under study using tNavigator software. Convergence assessment is a forecast-fact for four versions of the hydrodynamic model adaptation. Identification of candidate wells with a negative economic effect from the sale. Calculation of production profiles on different design grids of sealing drilling. Results and conclusions. The author has constructed four hydrodynamic models of the NP8 formation and estimated the accuracy of convergence of the actual and calculated parameters for each of the options. An algorithm was developed to increase the predictive ability of hydrodynamic model. The author evaluated the efficiency of the well drilling project fund, proposed optimization measures and assessed the economic efficiency of the proposed innovations.
